I don't like the cold. I dislike the cold. I only like the cold when I'm sitting in front of a fire or under my warm covers or doing something else which is keeping me warm. (In which case I would then not be cold.)

Downtown

I haven't been to downtown in forever, or so it feels like, and I had forgotten how "wow" it is. I just got out of handbell practice and Daddy drove me to the LAPL. We were driving in the middle of all these streets with the sleek & magestic buildings looming over us; it was really... I don't know how to describe it but wow. Sometimes you just have to remember this simple stuff.

Study

Ok, so I studied for the global test (kinda, I guess, Hey! it's better then nothing!) and the damn scripture magazine has been turned in, so I can almost relax. I'm gonna study for English & do the assignment at lunch.
As you can see, i don't have much to say right now. It's wierd really, cuz if you get me started, I don't think I will be able to shut up. That's a problem I have to solve... Then again, I can be the shyest person. Not so shy that I'll shut myself out, just shy or intimidated that I won't say "Hi!" to people in the halls, and then I see someone smiling at me and I'll perk up and say "HI!" to them. And that makes me seem like a total bitch! Hell, I really dont mean it to come out that way, but I'm sure it must. No one has actually, told me that I'm a bitch, and I don't know shit of rumors, so I can't really hope that people are okay with what I do.

Madrigal Dinner!

So it's been a while since I posted, since I've done anything really, all cause of the MADRIGAL DINNER!!! It's a dinner theatre we hosted at our school, I was in the play, choir, and orchestra, so I was pretty busy. First, I'm in after-school choir & orchestra from 3-4pm, that's Mon. Wed. Orch; Tues. Thurs. Concert Choir. There goes four days, plus play practices were every day until six. It sounds like forever, but in reality it was only four hours... Anyways, when orch, all choirs, handchimes & actors did it together, practice was until 7pm. I'm so used to it though, now it's gonna be wierd not staying.

Thanksgiving Vacation

So, I actually got to stay home today. We had no school today, so that meant no practice till seven, and Mami felt sick so we're at home, and clean up won't start till later, much later (I hope) and OMC i actually have time to use the computer! Even if it's for culture project (although I'm kinda sneaking other stuff as you can see...) ;D

[Late] Happy Halloween!

Okay, so I guess I'm a little late in wishing you all a Happy Halloween, but I'll say it anyway: Happy Halloween!

So this was my first Halloween at RC, everything this year will be my first at RC really. It was pretty cool, almost everyone dressed up. I must say the best costumes were: K= a corn and some girl=the girl from 'The Ring', she did the walk and everything.

I told her "Cheese K, your costume is so corny" I just had to say it! :P

Later on that night we trick-or-treated by my 'abandoned nieghborhood'. I say that because we almost never get any trick-or-treaters. So then we went to where the real fun is, at my Tio Javi's, but it was pretty empty there too. At least I went to his almost nieghbor's house. She buys stuff from 'Oriental Express' and gives out these huge goody bags w/ lollipos and such.

It's this cool pendant for a necklace. I'd never seen anything like it before. It's something that just caught my eye [no pun inteneded if that could even be a pun] and I had to get it. It's kinda surprising actually, it's klind of freaky, but not.

Why wasn't I invited?

Yesterday I stayed at V's house after practice. We were bored so we called some friends We called them and they were all "Hi V!" So she said hi and mentioned that I was here. Then they suddenly said "I have to go, call you back". V was all "Oh I said you wer here and they hung up!" She were just joking, but I can't help but wonder if she's actually right... V's cool, I just keep wondering how we became friends. I mean the more I think about it, the more I realize how different we are. Don't get me wrong, she's a great friend and I really like her, but we have so many differences. She's one of those girls that just calls people on the phone to talk. Yes, that is normal sounding but I can't explain it better, sorry. She knows everyone, at our school & at other schools, in our grade & and above our grade. I know people at other schools (because they were from my school, how LAME am I? :( ) and other grades but not like her. She can get along with evryone but they don't even say hi to me when we pass in the hall, so I feel uncomfortable saying hi. Why are some people that way? And why aren't some?

Lunchtime

So, it's about the end of lunch right now. My legs feel a little better, but it'll be right back. It's wierd, because at the begining of F block, I was all *ugh*, but by the end I was having this debate on 'The Lady or the Tiger'. [She sooo sent him to the tiger!] I'm worried about how that looks though. What if people think I'm just some moody B? It's not like I'm going to go around telling them why I'm like this. How would that sound? "Oh yeah, I'm on Tom so I'll be totally in cramps, mood swings, fever, aching legs/stomach, about to barf, ect. Don't mind me." I really am in need of some Midol.

Before School

So here I am in the computer lab before school. I didin't feel like staying with the other girls right now. :/ I figured I could print something for a class, but it won't load. >:/
I feel so sick, Tom is paying me a visit. :( I don't like Tom. My legs and stomach hurt like heck.

Confirmation

Tomorow is my first confirmation class. Well, i went [late] to orientation, missed the first class, and now i'm going. It sounds boring, not that I think it's unimportant. I just figure they'll be talking about all the stuff I learned in religion class during middle school because the other ppls where in Public and didn't know it. By the way, the class is co-ed, yeah it not at RC. Maybe I'll meet someone there, I am trying not to be shy there, I sat next to a pretty cute guy last time. Ack, why do I care?! I am being brainwashed or something because I want a boyfriend. Why? I dunno. Ugh. Stupid high school.

They gave me a Big Boot

So I went to the doctors on Friday, so they could actually take a good look at my foot. And guess what? THey gave me a BIG BOOT! It is so... big!

I'M IN PAIN!

I AM IN PAIN. A lot of PAIN. Guess what? I fractured my ankle. Do you know how hard it is to go around at RC in crutches?! VERY, very hard. OMC, it is in a hill, one of the steepest around; it is basically all stairs. I have to hop up the stairs! Literally, I am not abusing the word, ask any of the girls. I either must have looked really pathetic or just everyone here are really, really nice, because girls I didn't even know came up to me and helped me or at least offered.

So, you're probably wondering what happened. Daddy had tasken me and Dea to Souplantation. [I love that place! Their food rocks!] Outside their are some cement steps, and Dea climbed on. I was scared that she would fall, so I got on the bottom step. She didn't fall, but instead ran at me and accidentaly pushed me down. So I don't know how it happened, I just felt pain; then I opened my eyes and I was in the ivy bush. Daddy took me home and I put ice packs on it, but the swelling wouldn't go down. I went to the emergency room, got x-rays, and it turned out to be a fracture. There was this wierd crack in my bone [fibula] right where it connects toi my ankle bone. Ouch...

Update

So, I'm back from the retreat. Yep, the RC Frosh Retreat, cause I'm a freshman in High School now. [!]

As much as I hate to admit it, RC doesn't suck as much as I thought it would. [Don't let my parent's hear that! :D] It's just such a great enviornment.

Even though it will barely be a month since I started at RC, I'm already so busy. I am already in Mode, school magazine, the Madrigal Dinner [Concert/Choir/Play], all aspects of it: choir, orchestra, and I tried out for the play. Also, I'm in the book club, look at me I'm brown and nerdy! ;), book buddies, I go read to the first graders at Marg School, and art club. Here, you have to actually sign up for CSF, it's not a given. I have to get that from Ms.Tears.

So people. People. I've met a lot of people, and I've become friends with them too. I just don't know who to hang out with. I like them all, but what group should I stick with? I can't just be constantly rotating. Welll, I guess I just have to see what happens.

Creativity Classes

Ever since I was little, my parents would put me in all kinds of classes, and I mean a lot. I was in Karate class. My dad always wanted to be in Karate, but he's too embarassed to go now. I didn't like it much, I only went to one session. After me, he stuck Dea in it too, but she didn't stay either. :) I was also in Piano class. I started when I was 5. I was doing okay but, as always, I hated to practice. I stopped practicing after classes, and I comletly forgot how to play. :( My mom's side of the family likes to draw. It makes sense, when you consider my grandpa's job. My mom and I took Art/Painting classes together starting when I was 5. Then came Singing classes. I started when I was young, in Miss Kitty's class. There, I discovered I liked to sing, I liked it a lot. I am a shy person. Compared to a few years ago, I am outgoing now. My parents, wanting to help me be less shy, enrolled me in Acting classess. It was Stageworks, I liked that a lot too. One of the things that facinated me most was the improv. The people could come up with something funny and exciting right away! I always wished I could do that, I tried...and failed mostly. :} We have a music program at school and part of that program is the Choir. I never joined the children's choir, but Honor Choir put on a musical once a year. Thanks to my parents [They dragged me to many, many plays, and I liked it] and acting class I love Broadway and acting on the stage. I decided to join. Going hand in hand with the honor choir was Handbells. It's hard to explain what they are, so google it and you'll see. Also, I've always loved guitar and piano [more recently drums has been added to the list] so I wanted to learn how to play it. Since piano didn't go so well, I began taking Guitar lessons last October, it's great. Basically, those are the creativity classes I remember most.

It's too Hot!

Oh my God, I am going to fry. It is too hot here! I just checked the temprature and it's 105 farenhiet right now! How will I survive at school tomorow?!
