On the way back from the airport, my cousin began to read Dea a Barbie book. It was just too funny. I don't know if the video is just funny to me, or if it's one of those "You had to have been there" things.

High Schooler

I have just finished my second day of High School. It's not too bad so far, though it is wierd to be without all the guys. [RC is an all girls school 'member?] Yes, the uniforms are ugly, because of the colors. They are pink, grey and maroon. *Yuck* I like the school pretty much, if you exclude the uniforms, lack of putting me in the class I wanted [Bio Honors, yes I qualified.] and lack of boys. I am not some boy-crazy girl, but still. Anyways, I'm sure I will want a boyfriend sometime, and then what'll I do?!

Today

Today was the yard sale. Yes, I have yard sales. What I don't sell, I donate. But I might as well make some money before I donate. Which in a way is donating, because they get it cheaper from me than the goodwill store. [25c, 50c or 1.00 for the most "expensive items] Their prices are pretty high. Actually, I'm not sure now, it's been such a long time since I went, there are no good ones by my house any more. Yes, I go to second-hand stores. Ever heard of the saying "One persons trash is another persons treasure"? [Okay so it's "one man's trash", but why be sexist?] I find great fabrics [So they don't really sell "fabrics" per say, but cut the shirt and you got fabric okay?] and stuff.
It's Saturday night. Tommorow is Sunday.
The day before Orientation.
High School Orientation. For High School. So that I can go to High School the next day, Tuesday.
Aaaaahhhhh!

Blogs of Note

I was looking through all the "Blogs of Note" blogs right now, there are some pretty cool ones.
The ones that caught my eye:

  • Keep Me In Suspense [yes, I'm in suspense!]
  • 1000 Days Non-stop at Sea [can they do it?]
  • TLLT [5 stars from me]
  • lowercase L [explore the "phenomena"]
  • Strangers Among Us [takes pictures of people yet manages to not come off like a stalker,]

Hot, hot, hot!

I love Orlando Bloom! He is HOT, and don't you dare say he is not! ;)

What a Dream!

Oh My Cheese! [It's my saying, I have a lot.] I had a dream last night. A good dream. A good, wonderfull dream. A good, wonderfull, awesome dream. One of those dreams where it feels so real that when you wake up you're like "wait, what?". You get the idea? Okay, so I dreamt it last night, so its getting a little fuzzy already. I remember that it started out as a kind of weird POTC thing. It was pretty cool because I was in it, actually doing stuff! I don't rememmber who I was exactlly, but I was either E or Me! That meant that he loved me! The part I remember most though, was the best part. Can you guess? Yes! Okay, so in part of the dream there was this other girl that wanted him, but he didn't want her, he loved me! So us and some of the crew were sitting by this short sea-wall thing and she went up to him and told basically told him to pop the question to her. [She wanted to be married to him] Everyone turned to look at him, I just held my breath and looked down. I knew he loved me, but still. He told her no effin way, in such a kind way though, I don't think he can be mean. She looked kind of shocked. [Then I have no idea what happened to her, I lost total interest in anything else, you would to, just read on] He turned to me and said he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me! [I don't remeember the exact words, but that was the main message] Then [the best part!] he kissed me!!!!! We held each other and kissed. I could just feel the love radiating out of us, my love for him, his for mine. It was like one of those kisses in the movies where you're thinking, how can they be kissing like that, and for so long? I understand now, in dreamworld anyway. Now, I'm not so sure that it was actually him at the end, I couldn't actually see, I was closing my eyes when I kissed. Not that I think it turned into another person from my dream, but maybe... I didn't know my head could come up with such wonderfull things. You know, I've never had a dream like this before. I wonder [wish is more like it] if it's a sign?
[I'm not just a dreamer, I don't sit around dreaming of what could be, I try to make it happen, mostly. This dream, was just to good to forget though!]

Oh no! Only one week of freedom is left! Summer is almost over! I start High School on Monday the 27! Actually, Monday is Freshman Orientation, but same diff. I got a "formal" invatation in the mail for it yesterday. I feel bad for the person who had to make all those invites, they were handmade, but she did a really nice job on them. I know it was a she because, my feaky school is same-sex! Yep, RC is all girls. You can imagine my joy when my parents decided to send me there. Ecsatic. Not!

New Blog

So loyal fans! [Hahaha, fans! I don't think one person has read my blog, not that I mind soo much, I write it for myself, mostly.] I have made another blog, The Creativity of an Anonymous Miss. I will be posting my poems, songs, stories, ect.

Vacation Part 9

[Finally! The Last One!]

August 13, Day 9

So, it was Monday, our last day already. After packing up the car and everything, we left J's house. Since La Jolla is on our way, we stopped there for a few hours. We went to the La Jolla caves, with all the harbor seals and sea lions. After that, we walked along the shops. [I love walking along the little shops, and going into the little shops, and buying things from the little shops... :}] I found this really cool shops called Africa and Beyond [Check out their website, africaandbeyond.com] It had [did you guess?] a ton of stuff from Africa! I bought a beaded sea turtle keychain. I loved it because the turtle just looked so happy and free, ready to swim away...

Vacation Part 7 & 8

August 11, Day 7
We slept in on Saturday. [As if we hadn't been sleeping in the whole week...] When we finally got out of the house, we went to Vieja's, the Casino. Yes, I am to young to gamble [Darnit], so no, I did not go into the Casino. There are a ton of shops next to it. Mami and Julie had fun shopping together. Julie kinda brings out the daring in Mami [The teeny bit that she has, that is. :)] enough to buy some actually modern, low cut, nice shirts. It was funny, because Papi walked into the store and saw her trying it on and he was like "whoa". Well, he didn't actually say "whoa", but my Daddy isn't a verbally expressioning type of guy, [I just made that up, but it sounds cool! ;)] he expresses himself through actions. In this case, the 'Double Eyebrow Raise'. It was funny.
I got a cool new shirt and I bought Eclipse the third in the Twilight trilogy! I started it on Sunday and had finished it by Monday!
August 12, Day 8
Sunday we went back to Cabrillo and this time we got to go to the tidepools. They were closed when we went Friday, so we got to go Sunday.
[Me, standing on the edge of the cliff, it was awesome.]
We discovered this hidden cave too. Pretty cool. Lots of rocks.

[Touching the gooey anemone.]

Vacaton Part 6

August 9, Day 6
Friday was our last day at the hotel, Daddy's classes were finally over. We packed up and went over to Julie's house. She took us to Cabrillo National Monument [At least, I think that's what it was called. :}] Then we went to Ocean Beach. We walked along the pier and then walked along the beach. I got my feet wet, Dea jumped all the way in.

Vacation Part 5

August 8, Day 5

Thursday was a Lazy Day, mostly. We went back to Balboa Park, yes I got to to the Museum of Photographic Art! The photogrophers were Ansel Adams, Arthur Levine, Harry Callahan. There were some really cool photographs! I loved the work of Ansel Adams, he mostly photographed nature in Yosemite. The pictures were beautifull. Arthur Lavine took pictures of people and places in the city mostly, but something about them just stood out for me. [Harry Callahan was disturbed. I mean that in a bad way. It felt like looking ast pictures taken by a crazy stalker. He just took pictures of people on the street and of his wife, mostly naked. Yech, some photographer!] After going to the museum, we went to the gardens and shops on the other side.
We then went to Marshalls to get a gift for my mom's friend Julie. We each picked out a present for her, Dea took forever trying to find the right present. I wanted to go to the pool and swim but I forgot my bathing suit at home. [Dumb, huh?] I got a bikini there so I could go in. I can't believe it, I actually wore a bikini. :O Yep, it was wierd.

Vacation Part 4; extension

I feel I should explain my feelings on this touchy topic [Hold you horses all you animal activists and PETA people!] Okay, I love animals, [I totally would have adopted a ton from the pound *shudder* but my Mom will not allow it; she doesn't want an "animal" at home. I will continue my evergoing quest of convincing her to let me adopt one... ] but I am still not sure where I stand on the issue of animals performing and being in places for study. The tanks seem so small, how can the animals be comfortable? However, they are doing research, and it could help save the animals. Also, have you seen the connection between the animals and their traniers? Then again, making them perform? I try to look on both sides of the coin [Each side has it's spots] but, I just don't know. On the day I went to SeaWorld, I decided to forget thsi, and just enjoy the day.

Vacation Part 4

August 8, Day 4

It was Wednesday already, and guess where we went? SeaWorld! Dea, Mami, and I had so much fun!

[The lighthouse at SeaWorld with the trainer and four dolphins peeking up]

[Dea holding a starfish at the SeaWorld tidepools]

[One of the manatees at the Manatee Rescue]
I love manatees, they are awesome! I've always loved going to the manatee rescue at SeaWorld, I actually read the information [Unlike some people] and I think it's so sad. I mean, seriouslly, Why can't we take care of our Earth an of the others sharing it?

Vacation Part 3

August , Part 3

So Tuesday, we went to Balboa Park. It's not really a park, it has a lot of museums and gardens, it's a really nice place to spend the day. Tuesday was free admittance day to the Science Museum and Dea wanted to go there, so we did. I wanted to go to the Museum of Photographic Art, I haven't mentioned it in this blog, but I love Photography. Right now it's one the things I'm considering as a job, actually. Anyways the Science museum didn't really catch my attention, but Dea had fun.
One of the gardens at Balboa Park is Zorro Gardens. No it is not a garden with an Antonio Banderas statue [LOL :P], it's a Butterfly Garden! Planted in this garden are flowers that attract the butterflies [butterflys? butterflews?] and all these butterflies are fluttering around. I had barely entered the garden and a group of Monarch butterflies flew around me. I'm not one for bugs, even butterflies, btu it was soo cool.

[Dea at Zorro (Butterly) Garden]

After Balboa Park, we went to Old Town San Diego. Everything was so colorful, I loved it! We ate a Mexican Place [like I don't have that every day] at the Bazzar Del Mundo.

[Me by one of the colorful kiosks]

Vacation Part 2

August 6, Day Two

Monday was Beach Day! We went to Mission Beach, right at Belmont Park. It was really fun. We looked around the shops, got in the waves, looked in more shops, rode some rides, and watched a beautiful Sunset!

Vacation Part 1

I'm going to put a post for each day, mostly.

August 5, Day One
On Sunday, after going to Mass, we left for San Diego. You know what that means: Road Trip with a whiny little girl [Dea, my 5 yr old sister] whining and being whiny. Fun, fun, fun! Not! Okay, truthfully, it's not that bad, but she can get whiny. And anonying. And she bugs me. And I bug her back. [Hee-hee :P] We have one - count 'em, one - pit stop. Finally we arived at the hotel. It was a nice hotel, Paradise themed, but not too tacky. After we settled in, we went to the Fashion Valley Mall. It's this huge [at least it seemed pretty big to me] outdoor mall with an awesome food court. Unfortunatlly, since it was late already and most stores were closing so we went to eat. We ate at California Pizza Kitchen. Yum, Yum. :) Then, the shuttle was late, :/ and when it finally arived, there wasn't enough space, >:/ so we had to wait again >:(! Overall, it wasn't a bad start to my vacation. :)

I'm back

Hola ppls, I'm baaaaaack! [Eee, that sounds like one of those freaky tag lines you hear in the horror movie previews...] Well, anyway, I am back and yes, I do have a reason for not writing. Really. Mostly. Kinda. :} Here we go, I got a laptop! :D Yay!!! I had been asking my parents for one for a long time, then I decided I would just buy it myself. I had been saving already, but my parents said if I waited they would buy me one once I started high school. [Being partway through the begining of 8th grade already, I agreed.] So, surprise they actually kept their promise! [They actually do, every once in a blue moon...] Now I know it sounds like a lame excuse, but my laptop which supposedly has internet connection, will not connect! Argh! I didn't want to leave my poor little laptop all abondoned so I just played the games. [Did I ever mention that I suck at Solitare? I have a 20% winning average! >:(] So then, I went on vacation! To San Diego! And La Jolla! And how the hey was I supposed to get a computer [my parents didn't want me to take my laptop, but I didn't really care since it doesn't have internet anyway] with internet over there? I'll have to make seperate blogs to tell all about my vacation, becuase I have a lot to write.
